Our vision for reconciliation planning as a team is to aspire to understand and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ways of learning and pedagogy throughout our whole service, reaching our children, families and wider community. We are committed to building a stronger connection within our service and developing a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives. Through this journey, we will learn, unlearn and relearn, growing together in respect and understanding. As a service located on Darug Land at Community Kids Canley Heights, we are currently learning about the Land on which our centre stands. We explore and acknowledge the significance of this Land within our local area and thoughtfully incorporate this learning into our reconciliation practices and educational program. Through meaningful relationships, reflection and ongoing learning, we aim to give our children, team and community the very best in supporting our vision for reconciliation
