Reconciliation is an ongoing journey for all Australians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at East Maddington Primary School. We are dedicated to maintaining and strengthening our relationships with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, families, and local community.
We continually endeavour to respectfully embed and incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our daily learning and overall curriculum. We are committed to providing equal and equitable opportunities for all students, with a commitment to culturally safe learning environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. We will continue to provide opportunities for all students and teachers to develop a meaningful and respectful understanding and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories, and perspectives.
