Our vision at Crystal Brook Primary School acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Lands throughout Australia. We acknowledge the Nukunu people as the Traditional Owners of the Land where we live, learn and work. We embrace and respect individuals values and believe everyone has the rights to experience a sense of cultural safety at Crystal Brook Primary School and in our wider community. We continue to authentically and respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and histories into our everyday practice at Crystal Brook Primary School. We will continue to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, community and organisations to extend on our cultural connections and learnings at Crystal Brook Primary School. Reconciliation is acknowledging past injustices and the impacts that colonisation continues to have on Australia's First Peoples. We willwork together with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and wider community allowing all Australians to embrace reconciliation and respect as a way of life.
