Nairne School's Vision for reconciliation is based on a shared understanding that reconciliation requires respect, acknowledgement and an appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and perspectives within the school community.
We will provide opportunities for individuals and as a collective to deepen our cultural responsiveness responsibilities to ensure that reconciliation is at the forefront of our school and wider community and in maintaining the fidelity of our RAP. Nairne Primary School will acknowledge culturally significant events and build meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to create culturally appropriate and meaningful experiences that will be respectfully integrated into the curriculum.
