Pilgrim School

Pilgrim School is a caring, compassionate Christian community where all children belong, explore, flourish and serve.

We are known for our strong sense of community and connection. Through our RAP we will develop strong, meaningful relationships with First Nations Peoples, modelling respect for, and understanding of, Country and culture.

Our school will:

* Continue to explore and develop an understanding of First Nations peoples and cultures including the diversity that exists within Aboriginal and Torres Strait cultures.

* To respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and the culture of all others in our School community.

* We are committed to recognising and actively respecting the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to be

* proactive in the movement for anti-racism.

Our Learning community is committed to

* listening, engaging and building understanding of the diverse historical and current perspectives and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

* together, we can create opportunities to spark awareness of the importance of, and inspire a new narrative for, reconciliation in Australia.
