We aspire to work collaboratively with community members of the Kaurna Nation and community members from neighboring Nations, to build authentic relationships that allow us to engage, actively listen and gain authentic perspectives.
In our vision for reconciliation, there is a commitment to cultivate an environment that fosters respect and nurtures everyone’s stories, in particular the stories of Australia’s First Peoples. We promote behavioural change to be embedded in our community, born from a shared understanding.
Integral to our school culture is mutual accountability where we commit to actions that allow us to become part of the reconciled Australian story. In this we acknowledge and develop, in partnership, knowledge about the world’s oldest living continuing cultures and our place alongside.
We seek to explore First Nations histories and cultures in our local and national communities, in order to build a relevance and sense of belonging for all in a shared, meaningful identity.
Our core values of integrity and belonging frame our learning and living. We aspire to be a future focused, critically engaged community where true histories inform our contemporary understanding of reconciliation.
