Reconciliation is an ongoing journey that embraces action around First Nations peoples, cultures and histories supported by an attitude of humble active listening. Our vision for reconciliation at Corinda State High School is to foster positive, respectful and reciprocal relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our school and wider community.
We will apply our school values of Integrity, Compassion, Curiosity and Drive to create a culturally safe, inclusive, respectful and empowering environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, family and staff, where we increase respect and strengthen unity within our community. As a learning community we commit to reconciliation as part of our everyday practice through embedding understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in engaging curriculum delivery across all faculties.
