Dubbo College Senior Campus views reconciliation as an important, collective responsibility for non-Indigenous Australians. We all play a role in building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and our college community. For us, the journey starts by sharing and recognising the uncomfortable reality of the true histories of Australia, developing an understanding of the ongoing impacts of colonisation and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander excellence. Reconciliation is about ensuring First Nation families have a voice that is heard and in partnership, we can move forward together.
Here at Dubbo College Senior Campus, we share an understanding of and respect for, not only our people, but for all Australians, to build stronger communities that walk together and work together for bright futures.
