Lismore High Campus acknowledges and celebrates the cultural histories, heritages, knowledges and traditions of the Widjabul Wiyabal People of the Bundjalung Nation and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our vision for reconciliation is a united future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people feel a shared sense of belonging and strong connections within our school community with respect and understanding of First Nations peoples' connections to Country. We strive for a society that respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultural identities, strengths and resilience.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, Lismore High Campus' strives for all students, staff, parents and the wider community to continue to acknowledge and recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to develop and maintain respectful relationships between Lismore High and the Widjabul Wiyabal People of the Bundjalung Nation. We will continue cultivating a culturally safe and responsive environment, as well as providing opportunities for students and staff to learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
