Ryan Catholic College

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision is to honour the Wulgurukaba Peoples who are the Traditional Owners of the Country Ryan Catholic College is built upon.  We always pay our respects to Elders, past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the strong traditions, the rich culture and the ongoing hopes of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

At Ryan Catholic College, we see reconciliation as sharing individual and communal stories and being open to learning about and valuing others’ lived experiences. This is critical to building an inclusive community which values each individual’s innate human dignity.

Our aim is to walk with, be with, and act with courage, respect, companionship, compassion and hope, working together as agents of positive change, whilst being open to all and recognising the face of Jesus in everyone.
