Our vision is to honour the Wulgurukaba, who are the Traditional Owners of the Country Ryan Catholic College is built upon.
At Ryan Catholic College, we see reconciliation as sharing individual and communal stories and being open to learning about and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the lived experiences. This is critical to building an inclusive community that values reconciliation.
We acknowledge the truth-telling of this Country, the Wulgurukaba, people and Australia's true history, as a lived expression of our vision for reconciliation. We will continue to walk with First Nations people, and act with courage, respect, companionship, compassion and hope, working together as agents of positive change towards reconciliation, whilst being open to all and recognising the face of Jesus in everyone.
