VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At St Augustine's College, we deeply honour the First Nations' peoples of Australia, recognising their enduring cultural and spiritual connections to the land, waters, and seas. We celebrate their rich contributions to Australian society and our college community. We are committed to walking alongside First Nations' communities on the journey of reconciliation, guided by accountability and a clear understanding of the vital role education plays in fostering unity, equality, and equity. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we remain conscious of the past and ongoing injustices experienced by First Nations' peoples. Our goal is to cultivate a college environment where First Nations' cultures are respected, valued, and meaningfully embedded in the educational experience. We strive to ensure that all students engage with First Nations' perspectives, histories, spiritualities, and cultures building knowledge, empathy, and civic responsibility. We envision St Augustine's College students as lifelong learners and leaders, empowered to drive positive change in their communities and across the nation. Through living the College values of Unitas, Caritas and Veritas our students carry the spirit of reconciliation into their adult lives.
