At Little Angels Early Learning Centre Cherrybrook, we see reconciliation as a journey of learning, connection, and action. We aim to create an educational environment where children can grow up curious, respectful, and proud to learn about the world's oldest living cultures. Through intentionality, we will ensure all programs and community experiences will have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives embedded to support everyday learning. We are committed to creating a culturally safe environment where everyone feels welcomed, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel heard and respected. Staff, students, and the wider early learning community were encouraged to learn about the history and significance of the Country on which our centre is located. By working together with families and community, we hope to inspire children to become caring future leaders who value fairness, respect, and unity. Together we can build a kinder and brighter future for our coming and future generations by learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.
