Kids Club Eumemmerring

At Kids Club Eumemmerring we are committed to walking together with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, in the spirit of reconciliation by creating a learning community grounded in respect, listening and shared understanding. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn and play.   

Our vision is for every child to grow up valuing diversity, caring for Country and building respectful relationships with people and community. Through meaningful partnerships with First Nations people, embedding culturally responsive practices in our everyday learning experiences, we aim to nurture empathy, fairness and a strong sense of belonging for all.   

We believe reconciliation is an ongoing journey of learning and action, and we commit to continually reflecting, improving and working alongside families and community to create a culturally safe and inclusive environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories are respected, acknowledged are respectfully embedded in daily life.
