Our vision is to be a learning community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and perspectives are respectfully, proudly, and meaningfully embedded in everything we do.
We strive to create a place where children, families, and educators learn with and from First Nations peoples through authentic relationships, shared knowledge, in and through our everyday practices.
We are committed to building strong, collaborative partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, guided by Elders, cultural leaders, and First Nations-owned businesses through learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories, languages, art, and traditions.
We will work in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and staff by creating a space where Noongar culture is visible, valued, and acknowledged. Through dance, storytelling, language, and creative expression, we ensure children experience Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as a living, breathing part of their world.
Educators will deepen their cultural understanding of reconciliation so they feel confident and capable in their approach to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in the curriculum, not as a token gesture but as a natural and essential part of high-quality early learning.
Together, we are proud to nurture a centre where cultural learning grows every day, where identity and belonging are strengthened, and where all children develop a rich appreciation of the world's oldest continuing cultures.
