In the spirit of reconciliation, Bright Beginnings Learning Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Countries throughout Australia and recognises First Nations peoples continued cultural and spiritual connections to land, sea, sky and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
At Bright Beginning Tarneit our vision for reconciliation is for the Tarneit community to have a deepened understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
We will work actively to educate ourselves and future generations about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history within the local and national context.
Respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our practices will support our learning community to work towards unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and all Australians.
A national culture that embraces unity, equality, historical acceptance of our shared histories and removal of race relations.
