We at Edge Bilinga acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our centre stands, the Minjungbal People. We are committed to fostering understanding and appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures among the children, staff and families- within our service. Through incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait perspectives and inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait members of our community to be part of our learning journey, we will be able to value and celebrate cultural diversity of Australia's First People and create an inclusive environment.
We will actively seek to build partnerships and collaborate with First Nations People within our community, to recgonise their knowledge and contributions. Together we will strive towards reconciliation, promoting respect, and nurturing a sense of unity among all children in our centre.
