Child's Play Early Learning Centre in Wyndham Vale acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Lands in our community and across Australia.
We recognise and value the histories, cultures, traditions and contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples bring to the education of young children and the wider community.
At Child's Play Early Learning Centre, our vision for reconciliation is to involve our staff, families, children and wider community in deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and promoting the rights of First Nations people to have access to equal and equitable outcomes. We strive to create and maintain a culture of respect, equity, equality and cultural responsiveness in our centre.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan is a live document that is consistently changing and evolving to drive our goal of achieving a centre community that proudly recognises, respects and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures by embedding meaningful perspectives into our curriculum and practices.
