At Kradle 2 Krayons, our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that recognises, respects, and acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Custodians of this Land.
We are committed to fostering a culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful early learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and perspectives are meaningfully embedded within our curriculum, practices, and daily operations. Through intentional, age-appropriate learning experiences, we support children to develop understanding, respect, and appreciation for First Nations cultures and ways of knowing, being, and doing.
We aim to build and maintain genuine, respectful, and reciprocal relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. These relationships guide our approach to learning, decision-making, and the embedding of sustainable practices that demonstrate respect for Country and community.
Our commitment to reconciliation is ongoing and reflective. Through learning, action, and collaboration, we strive to create a centre culture grounded in respect, understanding, and shared responsibility, supporting meaningful reconciliation for our children, families, educators, and the wider community.
