Reconciliation is about starting today to create a future where we are respectful of and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures. As a community, we continue the journey towards reconciliation together with our children, educators and families. We will build relationships, nurture respect and create opportunities to learn from, and work together with, the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
A reconciled Australia looks like an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rights, culture and histories are valued and recognised as part of a shared national identity and feels like we promote a sense of national unity.
