We believe in acknowledging and teaching through play, the true histories of Australia to promote a sense of understanding, connection and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Australia's First Nations peoples. We are committed to developing an understanding for the for the Land that we live and play on, and how to care for it.. We will ensure we recognise and respect the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We believe by understanding and acknowledging our shared history, this will assist us in working towards a connected and respectful society. As an organisation, we are committed to raising awareness about reconciliation, with the goal of encouraging all people in the broader community to embrace reconciliation and work towards reparation and healing for the Land and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples . We will demonstrate this through gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning; by respectfully reflecting that knowledge at all levels of our service. Improving access to our service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and developing genuine, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities to create a sense security of belonging for all in our community.
