Little Zak's Academy Burwood Heights vision for reconciliation is to be part of the evolution that embodies Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be recognised as the First People of Australia.
Little Zak's Academy Burwood Heights is committed to building meaningful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and local governments to educate young visionary minds and societies about First Nations Peoples’ histories and cultures, and Elders for the knowledge they possess and the values that influence our practices throughout our centre. Little Zak's Academy Burwood Heights works with one heart to incorporate these goals into our curriculum and everyday learning, and we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's significance in our community and in the pedagogy framework in which the young will benefit.
