By following our centre's philosophy, we are guiding the children, educators and families across our learning community to become confident, creative, environmentally responsible and active members of their society, contributing to a brighter reconciled future for all Australians. We are all constantly learning and improving ourselves through engaging in learning, unlearning and relearning about what it means to respectfully include and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into our everyday pedagogy, relationships and our practices. Through our RAP, we as educators strive to improve our awareness and understanding of the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultural perspectives. We will respectfully embed these learnings into our professional and personal lives, so that we are more respectful and inclusive individuals and have a workplace that reflects this. We commit to respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, histories and perspectives within our service in order to support children, families and the wider community on our reconciliation journey.
