Through our everyday interactions and community focus we acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our centre sits. We want to create bonds that reflect partnerships built on mutual trust, respect and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At Kinderpark Forrestfeld Early Learning Centre we wish to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander’s perspectives and heritages into our weekly foundations through a variety of mediums and experiences and through facilitating engagements within the service and the community to further extend connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and organisations.
We have the will to learn and embed even more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through our Reconciliation Action Plan.
