VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Mini Masterminds Riverstone, our vision for reconciliation is deeply rooted in our unwavering commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and cohesive community. We aspire to cultivate a service where First Nation Peoples cultures and histories are respected, valued, and First Nations Peoples are provided with equal and equitable opportunities.

Central to our vision is the creation of a learning environment that actively recognises, celebrates, and learns from the wisdom and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and is respectfully embedded within our centre. We are dedicated to incorporating culturally responsive practices, curriculum, and community engagement throughout our service, establishing genuine partnerships, and fostering mutual respect with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.

Through education, awareness, and active engagement, we strive to promote respect, inclusivity, empathy, understanding, and equity. We firmly believe in the significance of collective reconciliation, working together to educate and serve as role models for future generations, ensuring that First Nations history is taught and never forgotten.

Our vision for reconciliation is an ongoing journey, requiring continuous learning, growth, and collaboration. We are firmly committed to working hand in hand with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, our dedicated staff, children, families, and the wider community to build a society where every individual is embraced, valued, and empowered to contribute meaningfully.

Together, we aim to create a collaborative community that upholds the principles of respect, inclusivity, and equality. By embracing our shared responsibility, we aspire to actively participate in the reconciliation process, promoting understanding, acknowledging the past, and support learning of why Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are so valuable.
