At Platypus Junction Langwarrin South, we aim to be an Early Childhood Service that actively acknowledges and respects the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our service stands, and of Lands across Australia. We aim to support educators in developing their knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. We aim to create a learning environment that is inclusive and celebrates diversities, including the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions. Our vision for our centre is to continue to further develop our skills to support and meaningfully engage children in learning about First Nations peoples and their cultures.
