Our learning community respects and honours Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We acknowledge the historical and continuing impacts of colonial injustices and are commited to fostering a meaningful reconciliation journey of truth telling. By engaging the children, educators, families and local community, we embed everyday learning that celebrates the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples and cultures.
As educators, we continue to share the responsibility of embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples perspectives in our early childhood education setting. We do this by fostering respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community and continuing to deepen our ongoing connections with the Ngadjuri community.
