Koomail Tardy Community Centre's vision for reconciliation is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives into our program and the community centre. We build and grow connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members and respectfully share our learnings with children through meaningful experiences, including those led by First Nations people. We actively work towards supporting children's understanding of and meaningful, respectful relationships between First Nations peoples and the wider Australian community.
