VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we live, learn and play. We aim to build respectful relationships between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the wider non-Indigenous community, working in partnership towards reconciliation. As a centre, we believe that cultural responsiveness is extremely important for staff, children, families and the wider community in developing their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and we aim to include these opportunities throughout our programs. We will create a culturally safe space, improving our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives to ensure we implement teachings in appropriate ways.
