At Explores Early Learning Beaconsfield, we are firmly committed to the principles of reconciliation and to fostering greater awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their cultures. We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land in which our centre is located. Our vision embraces a future in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are rightfully recognised and respected as the First Nations peoples of Australia.   We are dedicated to delivering inclusive early childhood program environments, curriculum, and daily interactions with children, educators and families, as we continually deepen our understanding of the histories and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.    We actively cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with First Nations Elders and community members, honouring their cultural heritage, customs and traditional practices.  We remain engaged with evolving concepts and discussions surrounding reconciliation and are committed to approaching these with respect and sincerity. We recognise that a profound understanding and respect for the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples not only enriches our appreciation of Australia's cultural heritage but also serves as a vital catalyst for reconciliation. This understanding is essential to Australia's maturation as a nation and fundamental to the development of a cohesive Australian identity.      We accept the invitation to embrace the Statement from the Heart and to be strong, courageous allies in the quest to hear the voices of our First Nations people.
