For all our children, families and educators to learn about and involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and perspectives in our Service and local community in a respectful non-tokenistic way.
We aim to scaffold learning experiences to support educators’ developing knowledge in regard to cultural competence and to ensure all our families feel welcome, involved and safe at our Centre.
At Bloom Early Education Mandurah we aim to provide and promote an inclusive environment based on the concepts of togetherness and culturally aware practices. We do believe in the importance of recognising, embracing and learning from each other’s differences and uniqueness. We strive to promote a home away from home environment for every person that will walk through our door. We understand the importance of ensuring our Sparrow families, children and Educators are aware of the Original Custodians of the Land and their traditions and continuing contributions.
