We hope for and aspire for a reconciled Australia which acknowledges and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations peoples of Australia. It is our vision to see every child, family, educator and community member have an awareness of how historical injustices have led to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander being displaced and hope to see a future of respectful understanding, inclusion, equity and unity for all Australians. We recognise how blessed we are to live and learn on Yuin Country, and we will continue to strive for the children of Milton Early Learning and Care to actively embrace a lifelong commitment to learning about histories and cultures, caring for Country, and overcoming the barriers which divide.
