Our vision for reconciliation at Rise Early Learning Orange is to deepen the service's understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives, starting with educators, children, families, and the wider community; through the connections we build, the opportunities we provide, the conversations and professional development that occur. Rise Early Learning Orange believes it is our responsibility as educators to engage with Elders and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to build respectful relationships for all. We will facilitate opportunities for First Nations peoples to engage in meaningful conversations and experiences with children, families, educators and community. We will strive to embed cultural responsiveness in our everyday practice as well as building a community of learners who develop an ongoing respect for First Nations Peoples. The educators, children, families and community will work together to build knowledge, understanding and respect of the Wiradjuri people.
