We are committed to building and maintaining respectful relationships with the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation, T and ensuring that the curriculum respectfully reflects the Traditional Custodians cultures and perspectives. Educators support children in developing their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives through intentional teaching, respectful learning experiences, conversations, and community involvement.
We will promote the recognition of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and days/events of significance in our day to day routines through promoting inclusion and ensuring that early childhood educators are reinforcing this in their daily practice. the principles laid out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
