Here at Busy Bees Cranbourne we believe that a child’s role within the reconciliation journey begins with the responsibility demonstrated by us as Educators. We recognise that there is need to continue to make small and significant changes to our practice to create an environment for children to learn about, understand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. Busy Bees at Cranbourne will provide a platform for children to acknowledge and learn about Bunurong Land and the Traditional Custodians, the histories, and cultures of this place. Implementing our Reconciliation Action Plan will continue to provide children, families and educators with the opportunities to foster deeper partnerships and engagement with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait community, and to work together to build an equitable and socially just nation.
