Follyfoot Farm Juniors, under the management of Busy Bees, fully embraces its role as an Early Education and Care Service committed to reconciliation. We see it as our duty to educate and empower children and educators to comprehend, appreciate, celebrate, and advocate for equity, equality, and diversity within our service, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Not just for today but also for the generations to come.
Our centre will be a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are acknowledged as the First Peoples of Australia, where their rich histories, cultures and perspectives are respectfully shared and woven into our daily practices. We create a space where friendships are nurtured based on trust and respect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous individuals living harmoniously together.
We highly value our connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, children, families, and local community. We acknowledge the unique connections that the Guringai and Darkinjung peoples have with the Land and through uniting our hands, hearts, and minds, we will walk together on our path towards reconciliation.
