VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Follyfoot Farm Juniors, proudly operated by Busy Bees, is dedicated to its responsibility as an Early Education and Care Service that actively supports reconciliation.

We are committed to fostering understanding and awareness among children and educators, equipping them to recognise, value, and champion equity, equality, inclusion, and diversity within our community with particular respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our commitment extends beyond the present, shaping attitudes and actions for future generations.

Our service strives to be a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are recognised as the First Peoples of Australia, and where their histories, cultures, and perspectives are authentically embedded into everyday learning and practice. We cultivate an environment grounded in mutual trust and respect, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous individuals can build meaningful relationships and learn alongside one another.

We deeply value our partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, children, families, and the broader community. We respectfully acknowledge Guringai and Darkinjung people and their enduring connections to the Land.

By bringing together our collective hands, hearts, and minds, we commit to walking forward together in the spirit of reconciliation.
