The Nature School

At The Nature School we are committed to the journey of reconciliation. Within our three core values we acknowledge the past and work to shape the future, through inclusion, appreciation, celebration and promoting resect for all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and traditions. 

Connect- Continuous inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and building respectful relationships with  local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community, within and beyond our school. 

Protect- Advocating the rights of all children, including  First Nations children and their rights to learn about, share and celebrate their culture. To protect, learn from and advocate for Country. 

Respect- Demonstrating our commitment to  of reconciliation through acknowledgement of the past, working towards equitable and equal opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, listening to First Nations voices, and creating an inclusive future of all aspects of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and cultures.
