VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We imagine an Australia where every child feels a strong sense of belonging in early education environments. We believe that learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, histories, cultures, and contributions is a valued and essential part of every childs experience.

We acknowledge the Gundungurra and Tharawal peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, learn and work, and we now call the Wingecarribee Shire. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan is a commitment to building authentic and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We aim to nurture genuine connections by listening deeply, reflecting openly, and acting with integrity. Through meaningful collaboration and a willingness to learn, we strive to strengthen our ties with local families, organisations, and communities.

We believe that reconciliation begins with the everyday experiences of children and extends through the actions of educators, families, and the wider community. We are dedicated to creating inclusive, culturally safe spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and staff feel seen, heard, and valued.

Together, we will grow in understanding, share knowledge, and walk side by side toward a more just, inclusive, and respectful future for all Australians
