Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Blakeview is dedicated to strengthening relationships, engaging with Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes peoples, and meaningfully and respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes peoples' perspectives and cultures into our early childhood education and care setting.
Together, alongside educators, children, families and community we will continue to build and maintain respectful and genuine relationships with Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes people in the local community. We acknowledge the importance of reconciliation and respectfully acknowledge the rich and diverse cultures, perspectives and histories of Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes peoples within the local community.
We recognise the importance of meaningfully embedding diverse Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes perspectives within our pedagogy, curriculum and environments. We will ensure there are opportunities for everyone across our learning community to deepen understanding of the true histories of this place. Children in our care are educated to the best of our abilities. As a united team, we are committed to working collaboratively with families, children, community and Traditional Custodians to achieve our vision as we grow in our reconciliation journey.
