At Bass Valley Uniting Early Learning, we understand the importance of recognising and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. . We understand and value that creating a Reconciliation Action Plan is a long-term learning journey for all children, educators, families and the wider community.
We aim to continuously build upon our knowledge and understanding about the First Peoples of Australia by sharing our learnings and knowledge about reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, and by working together to build our curriculum. We strive to develop relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the local community, continue to explore our shared histories, and learn about the Land that we live on.
We aim to provide and promote a variety of experiences that support everyone across our learning community to connect with their knowledge of reconciliation, including learning about the Land on which we live.
