Story House Early Learning Lara acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our service is built.
Story House Early Learning Lara is committed to reconciliation and engaging in ongoing professional learning to become culturally responsive in our practice and through providing cultural awareness training for all educators and staff so that they may respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our curriculum.
We will continue to build relationships with Elders and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and respectfully seek their knowledge and advice, that will help support our children, staff and wider community to deepen their understandings and knowledge of Australia's First people.
Our vision is to build a service that promotes a culturally safe environment for all who visit and attend our service.
