Our vision for reconciliation at Crestmead Play and Learn is to enrich, enlighten and to further educate all educators, families and children within the centre about Australia's First Nations peoples.
We wish to create an environment that respectfully showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures within our environments and through our interactions, practices and pedagogy.
Our vision for reconciliation is to see educators think deeply about engaging with, and building genuine relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We believe this will foster a holistic understanding of how to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within their teaching practices.
Our vision is to see this reflected in the philosophy of the setting and the planning and implementation of our curriculum.
