Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Randwick's vision for reconciliation is to create a culturally safe place, where everyone's cultures and traditions are recognised, respected, and protected. We aim for our organisation to contribute towards a fair, equitable, and inclusive Australia, embedding values of awareness, acknowledgement, and respect of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, past, present, and future.
At Paisley Park Randwick we offer access to a high quality of care and ensure that all the children and families have a sense of Being, Belonging and Becoming. Our vision is for each child to be culturally responsive, with an educational program that enables them in being respectful of everyone's backgrounds, beliefs, values, customs, traditions. We take pride in leading by example by displaying our values and recognising the importance of the relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples in our community and strive to always strengthen these bonds.
Our vision for reconciliation is to deliver a culturally inclusive and diverse program that reflects both group and individual needs. Paisley Park Randwick believes that each child is unique and as such has induvial needs, wants, and interests, which are responded with care and respect. Each child has the capacity to succeed regardless of diverse circumstances by teaching all our children that they, and their families, are equal in value.
At Paisley Park Randwick we commit in taking action against any form of discrimination. We commit to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Strait Torres Islander Peoples perspectives throughout our curriculum and program and continue working collaboratively with diverse children and families.
“Paisley Park Randwick would like to acknowledge the Bidjigal and Gadigal peoples of the Eora Nation. The Traditional Custodians, on whose Ancestral Lands Paisley Park Randwick sits” - Paisley Park Randwick Philosophy.
