Our vision for reconciliation is for our community to value and recongise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Through coming together in our respectful practices where acceptance and inclusion promote equality, we lay the foundations for a more open and understanding generation and respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. Local Elders continue to inspire us with their knowledge, experience and stories as we journey towards reconciliation and the ongoing engagement, learning, reflection, action and teaching it involves.
