VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

As a service, our vision is to build the knowledge of reconciliation amongst our children, families and Educators and to articulate the importance of educating young children about the true histories of this country, and about how events in the past are shaping our today, as well as our future.  Our vision for reconciliation is nurturing a vibrant and connected community that welcomes all its members and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We aim to build and maintain meaningful, ongoing relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and the broader Australian community as we believe that is fundamental to achieving our organisational purpose to provide equal and equitable educational outcomes for all children and guide their reconciliation learning journey.  We are committed to building relationships across our organisation in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and communities to work together and learn from as we  respectfully embed reconciliation strategies across Munchkin Manor ELC.
