Here at Rothwell Kids Early Learning Centre our vision for reconciliation is creating an honest, open and connected relationship with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We will show respect to the Traditional Custodians of this Land the Gubbi Gubbi People' and establish and maintain mutually respectful and reciprocal relationships. Our vision is to authentically embedded practices and intentional teachings within our service that respectfully acknowledges and educates children, staff, families and the wider community on the importance of histories, knowledge and the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At Rothwell Kids Early Learning Centre, we will continually strive to create a welcoming and culturally safe place for everybody to feel a sense of belonging and inclusion within our service.
Rothwell Kids Early Learning Centre is a Reggio inspired centre. The Reggio Emilia approach is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education which values the child as strong, capable and resilient, rich with wonder and knowledge. This approach is woven into our reconciliation in education journey.
