mi kids vision for reconciliation is that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and philosophies be genuinely respected and acknowledged by the mi kids community, through actively engaging with the true histories of these Lands and respectfully included into mi kids daily practices as we learn about custodianship of the Land. For the children of this generation and the next generation we aim to instil reconciliation through truth, justice, forgiveness, healing, reparation, and love. For the educators in the mi kids community to have the confidence and respectfulness, to incorporate authentically and organically, elements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture perspectives into their room projects and daily curriculum. For mi kids Management team to inspire and lead the educational team and other stakeholders to obtain deeper knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and philosophies.
