At Everlearn Preschool, we value and respect the histories, cultures, and continued contributions of the First Peoples of Australia. We will continue to create a caring and inclusive environment where reconciliation, empathy and understanding guide our practice. By embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives into our daily programs, in line with the EYLF and NQS, we support every child in developing a strong sense of belonging. We recognise and celebrate the rich cultures and diversity of First Nations peoples as an essential part of our learning community.
As educators, we are committed to continually building our knowledge and awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and perspectives. Through engaging in ongoing learning, unlearning and relearning, we will continue to provide meaningful and respectful experiences that engage both children and families across all areas of our service.
We will continue to seek opportunities to connect with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and Elders, to build, strengthen and maintain genuine and respectful relationships. Through our commitment to reconciliation, we continue to promote fairness, inclusion, and equal and equitable educational outcomes and opportunities for First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people alike.
