Kozy Kids Golden Grove

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Kozy Kids Golden Grove is committed to building a more inclusive Australia that better understands and values the cultures, histories, rights and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We see a more inclusive Australia as one where strong relationships become the foundation for our success for our national wellbeing. In enacting our vision, we aim to see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families equally and equitably supported by Kozy Kids Golden Grove, benefiting from our high quality education and care practices and our philosophy. In building a more inclusive Australia we believe the lives of our staff, students, families and volunteers will be enriched and enhanced with a greater understanding of, knowledge about and connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our Reconciliation Action Committee, comprised of team members from across the service, will be the driving force behind the RAP. As we grow and build our staff team, we will continue to add to our Reconciliation Committee membership, and focus on building partnerships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community that can be respectfully fostered and shared with our educators, children and families. We are committed to working together to successfully implement our RAP and work towards building a more inclusive and aware Australia.

At Kozy Kids, we want Australia to be a place of equity, dignity and respect for all.
