At Waratah All Year Care, our vision is to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the community to create and maintain a culturally responsive and safe space for children, families, educators and the community. We will continue to ensure our service program provides meaningful opportunities for educators, families and children to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, perspectives and cultures. We will ensure opportunities to build and maintain trusting, reciprocal relationships with the local Noongar community. We will consistently reflect on and deepen our understanding of what reconciliation means to us by continuing to engage in learning, unlearning, and relearning. Through our learning program and curriculum, we will continue to reflect our ongoing commitment to reconciliation by including diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, being, and doing.
