Reconciliation, to the team at Tarragindi War Memorial Kindergarten, means acknowledging that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are Australia's First Nations Peoples. We recognise the injustices, and significant milestones that have occurred within the journey towards reconciliation for Australia. A reconciled Australia looks like a nation who recognises the true history of mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people , and a nation that collaborates in unity to promote justice, forgiveness, healing, and love to drive reconciliation. We plan and implement experiences that incorporate a sense of care and nurturing through our bush kindy program as well as our everyday practices within the service. We continue to create meaningful connections and build relationships with the First Nations community. Our vision is to educate and support the growth of young Australians throughout their learning journey to respect, acknowledge, and celebrate Australia's Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
